Notes on battery disposal

In connection with the distribution of batteries or with the supply of devices that contain batteries, we are obliged to point out the following:

They are legally obliged to return used batteries as end users. You can return waste batteries that we have as new batteries in the assortment or returned free of charge to our mail order (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

The symbol of the crumbled garbage bin means that the battery must not be given to household waste.

PB = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead

CD = battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent CADMIUM

HG = battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury.

2. Free withdrawal of old batteries

Batteries must not be disposed of over the household waste. They are legally obliged to return old batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can deliver old batteries to a municipal collection point or on site. Also, we are committed as distributors of batteries to redemption of old batteries, with our withdrawal obligation limited to old batteries of the species, which we conduct or led as new batteries in our own assortment. 3. Meaning of battery symbols

For batteries, which contain more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percent lead, is under the garbage can symbol, the chemical name of the pollutant used - there is "CD" for cadmium, "Pb "stands for lead, and" Hg "for mercury.
